Need a director for your play?
While Shakespeare is his specialty, Bill has also directed plays by Neil Simon and William Saroyan. In 2019, he directed a full production of As You Like It for the Camarillo Skyway Playhouse, and a reading of his (nearly) all-female adaptation of Titus Andronicus. 2020 was shaping up to be even busier with productions of Steven Dietz’s God’s Country and a modern-day TexMex retelling of The Comedy of Errors (Elite Theatre Company).
Most recently, he directed a video capture of Minds Full of Scorpions, a digital retelling of Macbeth, which was a FireMuse Shakespeare production presented by the Elite Theatre Company. Minds Full of Scorpions is available for view at the FireMuse Shakespeare YouTube channel.

Are you a director? Need some Shakespearean assistance?
Bill can help you with dramaturgy, helping you bridge your production from the page to the stage, providing background information about past productions of your play, discussing of verse rhythm and word meaning with actors, as well as helping you edit your script to focus on your vision. Post-edit, he can also provide you with a chart showing which actors appear in which scenes (thus helping you multi-cast your production).
